Screens rarely fail first — players, power and network paths do. Here is how we design around each one.
Every signage failure we are called to fix follows the same short list: a player that lost power, a switch port that renegotiated, a CMS licence that lapsed, or a screen left on a consumer power schedule.
We design each of those out. Players go on managed PoE or UPS-backed circuits, network paths are documented and monitored, and the CMS reports health per screen so a dark display raises a ticket before a customer notices it.
The result is a network you can audit from one dashboard, and a support contract that reacts to alerts instead of phone calls.
